The menstrual cycle typically consists of four main phases:

*Follicular phase (days 6-14): Following menstruation, the follicular phase begins, during which hormone levels gradually rise, leading to the maturation of ovarian follicles. Estrogen levels increase, peaking just before ovulation.
*Ovulation Phase (day 15-17): Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from the ovary and is available for fertilization. This phase is characterized by a surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) and a slight increase in body temperature.
*Luteal phase (days 18-28): After ovulation, the luteal phase begins, during which the empty follicle transforms into the corpus luteum, producing progesterone. Progesterone levels rise, peaking midway through the luteal phase, and then decline if pregnancy does not occur.
Cycle syncing involves tailoring daily activities, lifestyle choices, nutrition and supplements to correspond with the hormonal fluctuations of each phase of the menstrual cycle.Cycle syncing is a personalized approach. Individuals may find that certain strategies work better for them than others. Natural birth control methods, also known as fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs), rely on understanding a woman's menstrual cycle and identifying fertile and infertile days to prevent pregnancy. There are several types of natural birth control methods, including the calendar method, basal body temperature method, cervical mucus method, and symptothermal method. Here's why some people prefer natural birth control over chemical methods:

Natural birth control methods require commitment, consistency, and a good understanding of your fertility patterns to be effective. They may not be as reliable as some hormonal methods or barrier methods like condoms when not used correctly or in cases of irregular cycles. Additionally, natural methods offer no protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
